Getting ready for the Risen King!!

Here is a project Belle wanted to share.

She was so proud of how it turned out.

We started with a few items from the dollar store,

a poster board

 and a gift bag.

We had the

brown paint

colored pencils

sisors

glue

and left over pizza cardboard (mini pizza)

 She cut out a cross from the gift bag.

She glued it to the posterboard.

Then she painted the cardboard circle brown.

Next she drew the tomb where Jesus was buried.

She colored in the door to look like shadows.

She drew Calvary.

Then glued on the "stone".

She painted the tomb and the hill brown.

She went outside and got some green pollen to add to the wet paint to look like scattered grasses around Israel.

Then she had sister write the words "He is Risen" fancy.

She is so pleased with her project!!

I am putting this baby in the front window!!
