Unplanned happiness

I swear God gives us little blessings all the time.
This has been such a crazy week for me.
I have been trying to run around and get the last minute baby shower things done and spend some quality time with the kids. I just want to make a point of them not feeling lost and forgotten in the shuffle. So I was playing a board game with the two middle munchkins, the baby was asleep and Aimee was reading and texting when the phone rang. The Team Mom from Michael Jr's team in the fall was on the line letting me know that the awards assembly would be the next evening. ( She had just found out herself.)
Yikes!
Okay, another thing to add to the "to do list" for tomorrow.
I am so glad we went. Look at the smile that came home with us.
