Summer busy

Isn't this beautiful?
We are back from our family trip to Big Bear!
It is so gorgeous up there. You can breathe. That was the best part of the trip, the free and fresh air.

Then we came back we had to scurry around and pick up the back to school items that the middle munchkins needed for school. Yup they started back this week. Wednesday was their first day. I hate the first day of school. I still hate dropping them off to learn from someone else. I was lucky for my son he will have my friend as his teacher. She will be so challenging for him though. Oh my.

Aimee started her first year of home schooling this week too. I am loving it. We have has such positive responses from people too. I think more and more people in the area are really considering and going for the homeschool approach. So Aims does not feel so nerdy. One of her friends has asked to maybe do it with her next semester. She even ran into a friend from 1st grade that has been home schooled and is thinking about going back. So that is wonderful news for her too.

Oh yeah, we have been working on our other rental property too. We have finally gotten rid of our old tenants who could not seem to understand that the rent was due at the first of the month not when they felt like paying it. Oh well. The next tenants will have a new A/C unit, new windows, new carpet, new doors and new paint. So we have been quite busy there too. I think I will be putting the advertisements in next week, so that will be a bunch of fun visits to show the property. :)

How fun would life be if we were not hard at work for our addition too? Yes we have been working on that bad boy as well. I will post more on that later though.

Soccer teams have called and we have attended first practices.
No team names or colors yet, that is still pending. We do know that practices will be just about everyday but Sundays though. As I have said before, AYSO= All Your Saturdays Occupied!

So getting our lives reorganized and refocused is what we have been up to.
Tons of running around and making sure that we have everything to stay afloat has been our goal. We are busy and healthy! What more could you ask for?

So jealous of you vacation pic! I would love to have a place like that to go! I'll have to do some searching for next summer. We want to go camping, but are afraid the kids might be to little!
