This stinks!!

Michael Jr has been waiting to join band for 2 years.
He is finally old enough. He was accepted into the program on Friday and we had to rush out and rent him a saxophone for his first class on Monday. I am talking $200 bucks worth of stuff that I was not planning into my budget this month, not including the $45 a month rental. Then he is super excited this weekend, tweeting and honking on the silly thing all the time can't wait till Monday's first class. He polishes it up and takes the heavy case to school with him looking as proud as a peacock. Only to find that for the first class he is stuck in the middle of a math test and can't leave till he finished the test. He ends up missing his first band class.
THAT STINKS!!!
and I repeat,
THAT STINKS!!!

Not very happy over here right now. Now he does not think he will ever get to play because it is always in the middle of math, his worst subject. I am about to be very angry with his school.
I will give it one more lesson before my Irish temper lets loose on the whole front office, new principal or not. This is a recession and we had to give up other things just to get the sax rented. I think that just stinks!!
