Wow!
I did not realize I would be down for so long. I just had my wisdom teeth(plus 2 that broke when I delivered Belle) pulled last Wednesday. Oh my gosh. Pain is an understatement. One side is totally fine but the one side where my tooth was fussing to the bone....ouch does not even come close. I am still pretty swollen and sore so if I ramble please understand I can't take pain meds because I am still nursing.
Even through the pain and puffiness the kids still needed to be cared for and they needed things for school. Aimee really wanted to have her hair done before school started. She had never been to a nice salon before. She was nervous when I took her in to have the cut, but look how pretty it turned out.

She was really happy with it.
She was so happy that Becca asked if she could get her hair trimmed here as well.
How could I refuse such a sweet face?
We appeased her with a picture in the chair.
Michael Jr also got his call for his new soccer team.
They are the White Eyed Warriors.
Here is their first practice.
I was in pain so when they asked for a volunteer to be team mom... for the first time....I did NOT volunteer. I feel a bit guilty, but another mom stepped up and took on the responsibility. Good for her! I will probably cave and ask her if she needs help later. As of right now though, she is all on her own!
The guys started insulation for our floors this weekend too.
I was so proud of my son out there learning from his dad.
They made a good team.
Our final summer blow-out before the new school year was yesterday.
We went to see "Walking with Dinosaurs" at the Honda Center.
It was pretty cool. There were life size dinosaurs (puppets) on the stage. It was really educational. They learned about the different periods of dinosaurs and their environments.
The munchkins all had fun and that was most important.
Then today was the first day of school for them.
They were all nervous.
Can't tell by the picture though.

I love free stuff : )
One of these days I'll have to introduce you to my friend who is out in L.A.. She is so sweet & on fire for the Lord. She is in fashion school out there & praying about where God wants her.
Womnderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! I love the pictures of the fabulous four! The girls look so pretty with their beauty shop experience! Builder Mike is a big help out there on the flooring! I hope he has a great time on the soccer field too! I will be eager to hear about their first day back to school!!
I'll bet the three school kids had a lot to say about the dinosaurs from Discovery Cewnter and the Honda Center! I was so intrigued by the Walking with Dinosaurs, and am really glad I wasn't born in time to see the real carnivorous ones up close and personal!!!
On the somber side, I sure hope your bad tooth-where-there-is-now-a-hole stops hurting soon! It's awful when your teeth (or pulled ones) hurt. Hard to get away from your own head! Best of blesings on your head!
Love,
Mom
Thank you for your kind thoughts. I will be better soon. If I can push out 4 munchkins naturally then I can handle some silly teeth getting yanked...right?? I keep telling myself that anyway. Today is actually much better. :)
My poor friend! mom's don't get down time do we? I'm here if you need me. I love looking at your blog on all the updates. Hope Friday can work. Tell the kids we all say hi:)
