A new kind of math
As stressed as life has been over here lately we still have to keep moving on. One of our projects is the house. Michael Jr has said that he wants to be a carpenter when he grows up, so why not? But he should see how all the forms of construction work together. I am hoping to show him that this is why we have to study math in school also. If you add or subtract wrong you can screw up the whole project. We added and subtracted and measured using fractions to figure out the space that the addition would be then....
through him in the seat of the Bobcat to figure it out! Now this is math that he likes! Now he knows that it isn't stupid to learn the fractions, addition and subtraction. If you do it wrong then we have to much grass removed or to little. Either way it is not good. He figured it out perfectly though (with Dad's help! See him in the back?)
I think Dad had just as much fun with this toy as Michael Jr did! They did a great job together. Maybe Martinez and Son Construction Company could be something you see in their future. After Michael Jr goes to college for construction management of coarse!
