Lent is over!
Jesus has RISEN!
We celebrated his glory!
Now I can blog again!
I know I said that before, but I was not planning on giving up my blogging for Lent. I had been speaking with Father who was talking about how much Jesus gave up for us and that our 40 days of giving up something as an offering should be meaningful.
I was planning on giving up TV. Big deal.
Fathers words just really struck home as to how much Jesus gave up for me and that I could show him how grateful I am for his sacrifice by giving up a comfort of mine. I actually really do get comfort writing about my wonderful family. I enjoy sharing about them and all that we do together. It may not always be interesting (soccer, soccer and more soccer) but it is who we really are.
So at that moment, I gave up blogging.
I used the time to pray instead.
It was nice.
I got so much peace from that.
Just thanking God for everything I have been blessed with (not like I don't everyday) but on a much deeper level. That was wonderful.
But...
Lent is over.
I have many stories to share from what we have done and are still going to do.
So ready or not,
MARTINEZ MUNCHKINS
are ready to share!
