Oh it was so nice!
My husband and I actually had some time together.
We do not get that very much anymore. He works a ton and I am always taking munchkins from one adventure to another. It seems that lately we just have not had a lot of time to just hang out together. So we made a date.
Aimee and her friend watched the younger munchkins while we went out for dinner and a movie.
I have been home way to much because I was looking at the prices on the menu and was floored!! We did not even go to a fancy restaurant and they wanted $15 for a veggie burger and chips? Umm I have made Bocca Burgers at home along with regular burgers for the rest of the family and all together it did not cost $15!!
See this is why I cant go out to eat.
I cant stand how over priced the food is.
So not wanting to ruin our fun I shut up.
I just enjoyed the time with my husband.
That alone was worth the $15 veggie burger.
We caught up a little and just enjoyed the fact that we could have a conversation with out being interrupted by little cuties with some earth shattering situation, like the commercials on the radio are to loud, could we turn them down please. :)
After dinner we went to a movie even.
Gasp!
A movie that is rated higher than a G at that!!
I couldnt believe they actually make those anymore!! LOL!!
We saw
That was actually a scary movie.
It was not a blood and guts Jason and Freddy type scary. It was more like "wow this really could happen" type of scary. Okay some of the movie was a bit over the top. For the most part I was really thinking about how would the world end? Kinda creepy.
I went home after and hugged the heck outta my munchkins.
The best part of the whole evening though was
my husband.
I enjoyed getting to hold his hand again in public.
Stealing a kiss in the rain just like we used to.
Being just him and me.
It was so nice.
I think we need to do this again real soon.
