Home School field trip.
We had been here before with some good family friends (who are away on an amazing journey around the United States right now) and had such a lovely time we went with our new home school friends this year.
This is a store in our neighborhood that has been around for a long time and is family owned and operated. They make all the candy by hand.
It is really neat!!

They made bite size tasters for everyone who came to watch how to make candy canes.
Warm candy canes are so good!
Then they let all the munchkins have a chance to make their own candy cane with the warm candy. Each munchkin had one that was totally different.
Yeah I helped Belle with hers.
The candies were huge too!

I swear it is bigger than Becca!
Here, I can't tell if they actually had a good time at the Candy Store or they are just over the top about the big bag of free candy they got when we left!!
