Dr for Belle gives Mom a good grade

Belle had her 1 year appointment yesterday. Poor baby got 4 shots. Ouch!

Good news is that she is doing excellent according to her doctor. She is going to be long and lean just like her sisters. She has great brain size as well. She is in the 90th percentile for head size. Big ole brain! Right on Princess!!! She is in the 54th percentile on weight and the 68th for length. Whoo hoo! The Doctor thinks that she is an excellent walker, is impressed at her vocabulary (thank goodness she has not picked up a "colorful" one from mom), Loves her skin color (who doesn't) and is amazed that I still have her eat organic homemade food not jars. Hey the other munchkins got the same, can't change now. She said that it is super that Belle has only been in for a visit twice in this year(not including well check appointments), and they were both for the same rash. One was just a recheck.

I know it sounds silly but I feel validated when a doctor can't believe what a good job you are doing. It's like getting that A on a report you have been working on for a very long time. You know that it is good, but seeing that A on your paper just makes you so much more proud. Your friends will tell you you did a good job. They are serious to. They see you with f"riendly feelings "already and hopefully look for the good in you because they are your friend. Now the Doctor, they don't care who you are and will tell you what you need to improve on. That is their job. When you can see them and they have nothing for you to improve on....I am telling you it's just like getting that A. Sweet! :)
