Oww!

I must have been feeling quite invincible after holding Finley a few days back because I was so happy I just thought that I could do anything. Her sweet little face just made you want to have another one! She is just so cute and tiny! So I was on a cloud way past #9 and forgot that I have a bad back. Didn't the doctor's tell me I shouldn't have any children if I wanted to continue to walk? Oh yeah...that is right. That was about 14 years ago and 4 children later I guess my back just wanted me to remember that it needs to be pampered not abused. Well I feel it now! Okay no baby #5 in our house ( at least not birthed by me!).

So to make a long story longer, what happened was, I was putting Belle down from her high chair and I could not get up. Yeah! Can you believe that? I was stuck. My back would not, could not move. If you know me, that is just not acceptable. So I pushed through the pain and straightened up, growling loudly as I did so. Holy cow did that hurt! I know that I should have rested a lot after that injury. I used ice packs and ibuprofen but it was still really hurting. After sitting on my backside for 2 hours the pain was not getting any better and the munchkins were getting hungry. I did not want fast food for the munchkins, so stupid me, I got up and made dinner ( not a great one) any way. I don't think that was my smartest move, but I couldn't stand sitting there any longer!

I still am not really babying the injury like I should but that is why I have not posted to much lately. Sitting in this chair is just not the most comfortable thing, and the munchkins have gotten to do nothing that fun since.

One friend sent me these pictures to try and help me feel better. They are beautiful and cute. I like the piggies and the butterflies best.

See it worked. I feel better already. Wonder if Bridget would mind if we come and see Finley today? I can't hurt my back any worse and I would not be able to hurt myself if I have to just sit and hold Belle, Farrah or Finley right? Maybe I will call her? :)
