My little man made his first breakfast completely by himself this weekend.I mean from cracking the eggs to putting it on the plate, all by himself!
Usually I help and supervise his cooking, but this time I was helping Dad with the bracing for the addition and Michael Jr asked if he could try it all by himself. I was not ready to let him (that would be the control freak in me) but he is old enough and he has made them with me a jillion times. Needless to say I let him. Look how proud he is of himself!
Typical kid though, then he takes it to watch Saturday cartoons.
That is okay. He made them himself and that made me very proud.

Hi there! I have a question. How old is your son? I have a 10 year old and I'm trying to show him a few things in the kitchen.
He just turned 9 this summer. I have been teaching him little bits for a few years now but this was his first attempt all by himself. Okay I was in the next room and peeking in a lot, but he did really well. I was impressed. :)
Do you plan to rent out this guy to his Grandma soon? He's getting to be a really good guest!!
