Our addition is slowly but surely coming together. We have the outside walls up and started framing up the inside walls. I just unloaded the 2x4x10's from the truck and I think Michael said I need to pick up about 30 more for us to finish the interior walls. Oh well, Belle is sleeping so I guess I can skip that for now.
Michael and I are starting to feel really guilty adding on to our home while so many others are loosing theirs. There are empty houses on our block even. Then yesterday with more big companies folding....it is getting scary. We try not to buy too many frivolous things all at once anyway but now should we at all? Should we be saving our pennies just in case? Should I cut back on things that have been "the basics" to our lifestyle and our neighbors? The kids aren't supposed to watch t.v. during the week only on the weekends, should we just turn off the satellite? Can't hit the gym that much, we should cancel the membership. The yard work I could do now that Belle is older, so should I cancel his services? Christmas is coming, no gifts for friends and neighbors? Where do you draw the line? What do we really need? Do I need a cell phone? Does Aimee? These are the thoughts that I keep having. I tell myself that if I quit buying things then others are loosing their income and in turn they could end up closing their business.
What a predicament Americans are in. What a time to start an addition.

Our God is bigger than this recession! You keep looking up & not at our economy. Stay strong & know that your addition is a blessing for your family. Where you can save money, save money, that's biblical.
But don't fear, that's satan ; )
Thank you!
I needed that. You are right.
Bless you.
