Time change

I am not a fan of the time change! It makes for grouchy children and rude drivers on the road!

I know that this is true. Did you see the news this morning? Crazy drivers in the AM I swear that it is from the lack of sleep not just the usual rude californian driving that they must have taught in high school. I guess that since I changed schools a few times I must have missed that class along with geography. I know that it makes for stupid drivers to. There is a drive thru drop off for parents at the elementary school. They have an area that all the parents line up and drop their kids off at the back of the school and then drive away. It is to cut down on the traffic. Oh some brainiac has all of us lined up bumper to bumper and decides to park in the drive thru lane and walk his little prince up to the gate and ignore the teachers that are there to help with that. 10 of us were stuck behind this brilliant human being this morning. Our kids are already out and on the play ground while his eminence is taking his own sweet time starting his bucket of bolts, adjusting his safety belt and checking his radio station before he decided that it was okay for the rest of us to continue on with our day. Stupid.

See now I am the grouchy rabbit. Had he gotten his extra hour of sleep He would not have been so stupid and I would not be all grumbly. Really don't like the time change.

Better subjects ahead...
Yesterday was a busy day at our house. Well that is nothing new. But we had girl scouts so that always ends up making it a full day. I told Aimee that I was going to pick her up first and I wanted her out right away after school. She never seems to get there quickly so I had my girl scout project all ready to put together in the car. Just the little easter gift bags. Nothing to special. I will be danged the little cutie was their 2 minutes after school got released! She has never done that before. Awesome. The only thing is that now the bags aren't done. Oh well. Off we go to the school for the meeting she was helping me through them together really quick and believe it or not this was the first time we were not late. Ever. Wow.

The meeting was cute the girls played red rover (working toward a game patch) and worked on their sharing project for the field trip this weekend. It was really cute, little poems with a silver and gold rings tied to them. You then read your new friend at the field trip the poem and give them one of the rings. Kinda cool, but the girls loved it.

Then home we went to the gourmet meal of kosher hot dogs, macaroni with cheese and fruit salad. Everyone got their homework done, (Aimee was actually first this time!) studied new spelling words and showered without to much complaining. I was shocked. With the time change I was certain that the evening with children missing one hour of sleep so far would have been loud and angry. Whoo hoo! Now this evening may be a problem, but so far so good.
Rock on Munchkins!

Here is a picture of Bec getting One of her patches from Leader April at the Brownie awards night last week, I finally downloaded it and figured I would share her happiness with the world! We are so proud of her. She is really doing well in Brownies.

Belle was proud of her to!
