Ok the son has a cool project coming up. He has to do 2 projects on his ethnic background.
Personally I think that this is really cool. He is an Irish Mexican. Two totally hot tempered backgrounds that will have tons to choose from. He could write on when the Irish came over to escape persecution in Ireland and how Hespanics are doing that today. He could write on the religious conflicts in Ireland. The different lifestyle of the people of Mexico. Holy cow I can't wait till he gets home so we can get started!
Personally I would like if he chose the different foods of both countries and then we made samples to share at school with the class! That would rock!
Aren't I the one who is worried about my figure though?

I'll be eager to see what Michael Jr. comes up with on his heritage! Here's a gem for you: Remember, his Great Great Great Grandpa Charles Henry Hay Scot) drove the Chinas Silk Train across Mexico, and Great Great Grandma Amy Monica Hay Bradley (Irish/Scot) lived in Chihuahua,Mexico with her sister, Aunt Katie, her brothers Charlie and John and William, when she was little. When herIrish mother,Kathline O'Leary, died Amy took Uncle Charlie and raised him in the convent while she became a nurse down there, at Hotel Dieu.Several of the little Hay kids were born in Mexico.good tidbit, huh?
Ooops! That should be a parenthesis before "Scot" because gramps name was Hay, not Scot!
