open house

Last night was Open House at the elementary school. Oh my gosh was there a lot to go and look at! Michael Jr's teacher was making oobleck for all the kids in different colors. They thought that was so cool! They had the reports that they all just did up on the walls and their names written like spiderwebs ( glue and glitter) sparkling up a corner of the class.
Here is one of Michael's papers that he put up on the wall. Here is his "Charlotte" from Charlotte's Web hanging over his teacher's desk!

I finally met his friend Tenzin & his family. Nice people.
Then on to Becca's class. She got all dressed up for the occasion.

Here is a poem that she had written and was up on the wall.

Here is one she wrote with a couple of her friends in class.

Ms. Trost had so much up that they had done all year. She is AMAZING! I am glad Becca got her this year. The munchkins had fun showing me all that they had acomplished this year at school. They were really proud and so was I. I have really great kids.

What a great Open House! I was pleased to find I could enlarge Michael Jr.'s and Becca's written work and read them just fine. Great jobs, Martinez Munchkins!

As for the Kangaroo information, Becca, my big greyhound would also fit into your chart, except she doesn 't come from Australia. Her breed is from Egypt and then much later from England and Scotland. She would be tickled to see what her friend the Kanga looks like, but not too up close and personal.

I like that Chinese warrior statue, Michael! You're a good archeologist!

And Becca-I meant to mention your Open House bling is very nice!
