See these beautifully wrapped gits?
They are obviously not done by me.
Mine tend to turn out more like...
a preschooler was let loose with ribbon, tape and paper!
"TAKE COVER EVERYONE, AIMIE HAS WRAPPING PAPER!!
SAVE YOURSELF!
AAAHHHH!"
Thank goodness someone had mercy on me and created gift bags!
I will be gift bagging the extended family gifts today.
Wish me luck on my dangerous journey into the land of scotch tape and scissors.
If you don't hear from me in a week or so then I was probably captured by the Gift Paper Patrol and thrown in The Pit of Leftover Scraps for wrongfully wrapping without a license.
I think I still am wanted for last years entanglements with the ribbons. Those pesky suckers started it though! They think they are so cool just cause they have all that shine and stuff. Yeah they are pretty. but come on, after the initial attraction there is really nothing to them. They are just all for show. So when I cut them short last year, they started being little stinkers and refused to curl. Wouldn't that make you mad? I can't be alone on this one.
Anyway one thing lead to another and I ended up taking the scissors to them a time or two to often and they lost all their glitz so they brought me up on charges of CHRISTMAS CHAOS.
They stink.
I think this year I will just try to avoid ribbon all together.
Safer that way.
Press on bows seem a bit more down to earth anyway.

Good luck!
I can relate, when people see my presents they're usually like, "Oh cute, you let the little one do it!" and I play along, oh yeah, the kid did it, LOL!
Now the "kid" is 10 and wraps better than I do! :)
