These are shots of the house during the holiday weekend.
Notice the big hole where the wall used to be?
It is a beautiful opening now to the addition.
The addition now has windows (all but one) and doors.
This is a good thing.
We have no insulation up yet to keep the cold out though.
We also have no ceilings yet so the patio that is covered and connected to our newly added family room lets in a whole bunch of cold air. It is really looking great but it is a bit chilly in here right now.
Brrr.
I know we live in Southern California so complaining about the cold is kinda wimpy.
Maybe if I took off my flip flops and put on my sneakers I wouldn't be so chilly either
I'll just put on my sweats and put a cork in it!

Wow! Look at all the progress you are making on the new addition! I see you were able to cook great looking food even in the plastic and plaster wrapped world that used to be all your kitchen. Thanksgiving dinner looked especially tempting! Did Bec really make a cake from scratch? that's impressive! I'll bet the food the kids made was the best part of your table! Now that the cold andrain are here I hope it all comes together finished in a flash! Got mittens?
