I have so little $$ to spend on outside the family people at CHRISTmas, I hate giving crappy gifts though. Check this out! I got a 3 wine toppers (like this one here but remember my camera is broken) to go with the wine I got for my husbands bosses. You won't believe how cheap I found these! $4.99 each! Yeah, when I went to the mall, which I hate, they were there for $24 and I got it under $5!! Very cool!
Cha Ching went my pocketbook!

Then in the same store I got again for under $6 these cute snowman bath soap sets and body washes for the girl munchkins friends! They are so cute too! There were so many to choose from that each girl will get something totally different from the other ones. I could afford to buy a gift for Becca's 4 best friends and all of Aimee's Best buds!
This magical store was...
T.J.MAXX!

(I know cheesy but I really had a Maxx moment, I am telling you!)
They even had this sweater vest there that Aimee had wanted from Macy's but it was $40 so I told her she had to wait but, at T.J.Maxx they had the same sweater vest there for $19! That was a 50% savings! I love saving $!
There were these really cute red and white place settings there. Kinda looked like Pottery Barn but way less the cost. I could just imagine them in my new dining room (when it is finished) with the beautiful white linen place mats (white? who am I kidding, I have 4 munchkins..well I can dream) and that beautiful white vase over there that is only $15, filled with red and white roses and with fresh evergreens across the table. Can't you just see the silver balls filled in the crystal glasses? I am dreaming again. It was so easy to do because they had all that stuff right there and the price was wallet friendly! Well I could not let the whole dream escape before leaving T.J.Maxx, so I got the vase and a few smaller ones that match. They were affordable. So that was the downpayment on my future dream dining room right?
It was great there. They had sales all over the place
Here was the kicker of my shopping trip, I send gift baskets for holidays and special occasions. I usually spend about $50 on the basket, then tax (that is at least $10), then the shipping and handling charges (another $10-$15). My total per basket is around $75 per person I send them to. But I figure the people that I send them to usually live far away and this is how we send our love. I will be danged. There was a gift basket there that looked just like one I had bought earlier and this one was only $39.99. If I had sent that myself UPS I would have saved a fortune!
I am just so excited that I saved so much money doing my last minute shopping I had to share my finds with you. There were so many great deals all under $6. I was pleasently shocked. If you have any last minute people to shop for definately think T.J.Maxx and save a few bucks. That is unless you like just throwing away your money in which case you are always welcome to throw some at me. Large bills are always accepted! :)
