Yesterday Belle turned 1.This was her first time opening gifts all by herself. Goodness did that take forever! She got some really cute gifts. She got beautiful clothes this adorable blanket that she kept kissing, a cute book of first words and then this one here was her favorite....
"My Baby!!"
She would not let anyone else touch her baby. This was her baby.
Later that evening we all went outside to watch the fireworks. She watched for about 2 seconds then decided to do anything else. She and I went in to make her birthday cake.
It is summer so we went for 3 different types of ice cream.
She wanted to do it herself.It was her birthday so we let her.
What a pretty mess she made.
Then believe it or not shetook 2 steps all by herself!!!
My baby started walking on her first birthday.
What an incredible first birthday.
