Still Recovering

Holy Cow!
We had a double birthday party on Saturday for Belle and Michael Jr.
I had figured that since their birthdays are so close and we are working on the house,( that means NO PARTY HERE ) we would just go and have fun somewhere else. Do them both together right? I would invite almost all the same people to both. Let's be smart and do it all at one time. Less stress that way. It would be way cheaper to because I would only be doing it one time. It sounded good in theory. The reality of the situation is that I need to be in control of a party that I am throwing or I go nuts!!! I stress out on stupid stuff. Do you think that the cake will be there on time? Will there be enough for the kids to do? What if they rush us to much? What if the presents get put in the wrong party room? Did I order enough pizza? I could not sleep at night because I was so worried how the party was going to turn out. What a dork I am. Of coarse it turned out great. I had picked a place that plans parties on a daily basis.I am sure they were tired of me calling constantly, making sure that everything was still going as planned and that all my kids friends would be taken care of and happy after this event. They needed to be well fed to, so the food would all be there on time right? Yes? Good. I think all the kids had a blast. They all probably went home and slept so well that evening too.

Here are the kids starting out in one of the jumping rooms.
This place was filled with big inflatable jumpers. There are 4 different jumpers in the first room you are in plus a play area for Belle and her friends.

I was stressing out for nothing. See? They had it all decorated for the kids.
Simple and organized.
Perfect.

Here is Michael in the second play area. Now in the second hour of the party you are in a different play room with 4 different jumpers and play area for the littlest party munchkins. Michael Jr and his friends are in the arena where they can beat on each other with giant boxing gloves, foam poles (like my son has here) and other funky things. The boys were all over this one.

For the last hour we had pizza and ice cream cake.
Here is princess Belle in her birthday thrown.

Prince Michael

Here is their cake. They had to share the thrown this time.

Okay, Belle turned one so she needed her own special moment.

My friend Raegan made this beautiful cake just for her.

She did an amazing job.

Belle thought it was so pretty she just dabbed at it.

She did not want to mess it up.

She gave in and went for it.
How cute is this?

She even shared with her brother.

I think they had a good time.

The only bad thing was we ran out of time to do the presents with everyone.

The munchkins got a ton of great gifts from their friends.

Tons of love they got that day.

I am so thankful it turned out as well as it did.

By the time we got home........

I was done.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
