Mom did not turn on the air conditioner yesterday and it was 108.She said that a man was coming to work in our backyard so we could not put up the slip and slide either. Now that is a bummer.
Here is what we tried instead to stay less hot.
Becca and Belle tried playing on the floor to keep cooler.
Michael Jr watched TV on the couch and said he was to hot to do anything.He wanted to call his friend but said that it was to hot to hold the phone.
Belle tried eating a bowl of ice.Hey that is a pretty good idea.
Mom made us chocolate strawberry ice pops.
These are good.
How many do each of us get?

She claimed it was to hot.
She thought she might just melt the camera with her good looks anyway!

Oh, yes! It was even acorker here at the beach-101 at noon and rising. I thought about you there, in in I.E., pasted to the floor with wet washcloths on your heads.These are wonderful pix of kids keeping cool...or not. One of my birds got restless and let herself ouot of the cageon the balcony, so I've left her food and water in case she returns. I really think she hopped a plane to Alaska. The other two looked embarassed to remain, obviously fearful of flying that high.
Stay where it's a little cooler today, like maybe in a cold tub of water? Well, it was one idea.
