We have been continuing with our addition (thanks 6happyhearts :)).
It was time to demolish the wall of mom and dad's bedroom.
Michael was up early in the attic starting the bracing, then we helped him brace inside our bedroom. That is some heavy wood!
This is what the room looked like when I left to take the kids to their soccer games (which they tied and won). When I got back the entire wall was removed and the most enormous beam was holding up the house. That was a Monster piece of wood that went up there. Our friend Tom came and helped put that bad boy up there, but other than that Michael did it all himself.
What an amazing husband I have!

My comment just disappeared! Try again! That's a huge, big beam up there! I bet you have to sleep ion another room for a while, huh? It will be so nice to have all that new room in your home! Good on Michael!
