My cousin Shaina is competing in the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco this October. I am so proud of her. It is a 26 mile event. She has been training for this for a number of months now. She is doing this to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Is that not the neatest thing? She is young and single and that does make it a bit easier to find time to train but that is one BIG commitment. To do something to earn money to help others that you do not even know I think is admirable. To change your whole lifestyle to do that commitment is amazing as well.
So Shaina my hat is off to you sweetie and our check to help you reach your goal of $2,500 is on it's way!
