Getting Ready

Aimee's birthday is tomorrow and she has requested cookies and ice cream. Even though it is pretty humid today, Belle and I are sweating through a few batches of cookies. We have Peanut butter Chocolate Chip in the fridge getting chilly and just finished a batch of regular Chocolate chocolate chip cookies. While I was baking I remembered that when I was close to Aimee's age I had wanted a cookie cake instead of the traditional cake. I decree that we are now making a tradition that when my munchkins leave the mini-munchkin era and enter the drama of teenage munchkin madness they can expect to see a cookie cake. Here is Belle creating the soon to be decorated concoction.


Let's hope this ends up as happy as Belle looks smacking the heck out of this BIG cookie!
