being a bookworm

I have been enjoying the cooler weather by curling up with a good book while I cuddle up with Belle to put her to sleep. I LOVE books that are just candy for my head. They are not teaching me anything, don't have little tidbits for a better life or dinner, just fun old fictional stories are the bomb in my opinion.
This is the book I just finished. It is by Catherine Anderson and it is called Blue Skies. It is about a blind woman who finds love when she does not think that she can because she is disabled. It was great. I saw that there is another book with the same characters called Phantom Waltz and the main character is in a wheelchair. It is also written by the same author. I think the library is closed tomorrow but come Saturday I might just pop in and check that one out as well.
This is one of the few things that is hard for me to still do a bunch of as a mom, but don't think that I won't find time to do it! Hey I might only read a few pages a day for myself ( the rest is filled with 2nd grade reading books or 8th grade atlas searches and so on...) but I try to find some "mommy fun time" for myself.
Am I the only one who loves a good read that is just purely for reading? What do you read?

Nothing is better than reading just for the pure enjoyment. I have to get back into that, myself. Glad you enjoyed your book!
