Church Tree Garden

Here is something else that we have been up to.
This is the side yard to the children's classrooms at church.
It was filled with bottle brush plants.
They are pretty but not what we needed for our garden.
Father Richard gave us the land there to use for a citrus tree garden.
The idea was great until we had to pull out all the trees.
Yuck!
Michael Jr took the axe to the roots and beat the heck out of them!
He did a really good job.

We marked where all the bottle brush were with flags and the big chalk marks.
See there were a ton of them!

Afterward Michael and one of the other munchkins from church took a well deserved break.
